I didn’t know they Ghostbusters would be showing in theaters till it was trending on twitter last week. Tonight I went and caught on of my all time favorite movies at the Regal. Met a fan there too, he was dressed up! It was a blast and I hope they keep re-releasing movies like this. Second chance to see these when I couldn’t as a kid.

Alessandra Torresani…yeah, I only know her from Caprica. I didn’t plan on a back to back SideBoob post but Caprica got canned today by SyFy. Total send off marathon of the last episodes was airing. This show was just WAY too different from Battlestar Galactica. I never got in to…I did at first…but it just dragged on from the start and I haven’t watch anything of it since.

I’ll get back around to it….

Comic-Con 2010 is on this week and Westboro Church decided to…protest. Geeks being geeks…protested in their own way.

So I have started my first night of vacation…and I ended up on Risa?!? It’s Friday night and I had NO PLANS. Just the way it should be. Doing nothing is awesome! I am in Star Trek Online tonight and I saw a post in the chat about a dance part on Risa while I was in battle. Now I am the beaches of Risa with quite a few people here dancing around. Now before you think that they are just dancing around to no music, let me point you in the direction of Subspace-Radio.net, the voice of Star Trek Online. DJ aCe is currently on the dial spinning away some great tunes. This site also has a pretty good character builder so definitely give the site a visit.

Since I am a tourist…pictures! I will update every now and then….

StarTrek.com, if you have been a visitor in the past couple of years, you know that they haven’t really done much with the site. After all the TV series ended, you think they would have spruced up the site for the 2009 Movie. They didn’t. I thought it was dead for the longest time and with the social media sites, maybe they would just let it die.

Star Trek on Facebook posted today that they will be relaunching StarTrek.com this summer! They are behind the Web 2.0 movement and their forums are still way active. Good to see there is some spark back in the franchise.
