Currently Watching: Game of Thrones – I am a late watcher to this series. Still in the early episodes. Catch it on HBO though the series just ended for the season.

On Hold:  True Blood Season 3 – I tried to watch this season…but it is already boring and stupid. I couldn’t go on but hopefully will pick it back up after Game of Thrones again. True Blood just started another season.

Just caught up on: Covert Affairs – Show currently in second season on USA. I recommend this, good CIA/Spy show with a hottie, Piper Perabo.

Currently Watching: Battlestar Galactica for obvious reasons. I always get to the 4th season and slow down the watching because i do not want it to end!

Just finished: The entire series of Friends. Good sitcom to burn through. I found the series Joey, short lived that is…may watch it just to say I did.

World’s Toughest Fixes on NatGeo – Not sure why I started watching this, now I can’t stop. The host goes and helps out with some of the toughest jobs around like diagnosing an issue with a cruise ship leak or replacing and repairing the San Fransisco Bay Bridge.

Friends – Yes…Friends. I watched this show during the original run and haven’t really watched it since it ended. Taking the time to burn through the episodes. Sitcoms are great shows to fall asleep to or just something to burn through since they average about 20-24 minutes per episode. I always loved Chandler and Joey…reminds me of my roommate experiences.

Cruise Ship Diaries – I can’t say the real reason why I started watching this one on NatGeo for umm, certain reasons that may be revealed later. But it is interesting to see those that have jobs on the ship and the lives they lead.

And my 6th watch of Battlestar Galactica. Nothing more needs to be said about this…

So if you listened to Episode 2 of The Geeked Out Podcast, Chris issued a challenge to me to start watching True Blood. Now I know am a late comer to the show, but heck…there is a lot of good TV out there these days. My first impressions since starting on Sunday…I am already on episode 7 as I am writing by the way, it is a refreshing reboot for Vampires…at least for me. After the idea of Twilight and the garbage from the movies the past few years, Vampires wanting equal rights and those that want to remain the same in today’s world..definitely a good direction that is keeping me interested. Even after all the progress made in the country/world for all to accept each other for who they are and what they do, True Blood spins it to include Vampires.

I know it will get better as I go and can’t wait to finish my binge. Give it a go if you haven’t watched it yet. Oh, and it probably has one of the best intros for TV…next to Dexter that is…

To pay homage to my favorite podcasts right now, The Video Games Show along with Bombed Out Radio, for this initial posting. Both are hosted by Rich Bergen and Nick Kraftor. I worked with both on XboxAddict.com several years ago now, more Nick than Rich. I guess that makes the show more enjoyable to me. Knowing the people that host the show and poking fun during their live recordings, always a blast. If you want to get a dose of video game news and random geek talk, tune in to these weekly shows. For this weeks video podcast, HD Nation via Revision3. I love to keep up with all the latest HDTVs, projectors, players, HTPCs,etc. I don’t care for Robert Heron but Patrick Norton is a hero in my book. Anything he is involved with, I am there.
